Do you only offer individual therapy online?

Yes! Over the years, I’ve found that online therapy is equally as — if not more — effective as in-person and it comes with multiple advantages, such as not having to travel anywhere and being easier to fit into your busy schedule. If you have any questions or reservations about online therapy, let me know during our free consultation.

How can I work with you if my state is not covered by PSYPACT?

If you don’t live in a PSYPACT participating state (use this map to check!), I won’t be able to offer individual therapy services to you. However, there are still two ways in which we can work together!

 

I offer 1:1 coaching to those who don’t live in a PSYPACT participating state or are based outside the US. The format is similar to 1:1 therapy, but I won’t be able to give you a diagnosis.

 

Alternatively, you can enroll in my course, Letting Go of Perfectionism. It’s a self-paced version of the process I take my clients through during individual therapy with weekly Q&A support to help you turn your perfectionist tendencies into your biggest assets.

What kind of investment can I expect with individual therapy?

I currently offer two container options, for 3 months and for 6 months. Both of these containers are 4-figure commitments with flexible payment plans available.

I wonder if it’s the right time for me to start therapy. I’m kind of all over the place.

Waiting for the conditions to be “right” before attempting something new, such as therapy, is actually a common mental block perfectionists and high-achievers experience. The truth is, there will never be a perfect time to get started (seriously, never!).

 

That said, if there are temporary circumstances in your life that will make it harder for you to give enough attention to therapy, we can talk about them during your free consultation and see if it’s truly not the right time for you…or if it’s your perfectionism talking!

Are you going to tell me that I “don’t need to be perfect” and should just “do my best”?

My approach is the opposite of surface-level advice like this. If you’re on this page, you probably already know how you’re supposed to feel —but you can’t counter irrational emotions with oversimplified facts. Instead of trying to “fix” your perfectionism, I will help you figure out an enjoyable way of living with it (and thriving!).
